Meadow Back Row
The Meadows Back Row is located at turn 4, and is one row (the back row) off the rail directly behind the Meadows Rail tailgating spaces. There are three designated rail-side viewing areas set aside for Meadows Back Row patrons that provide viewing of the horses as they race down the hill around turn 4 to the hurdle and finish line. It also provides viewing of the start of the opening ceremonies. Meadows Back Row is a single row of tents tailgate spaces with close proximity to all infield activities. PLEASE NOTE: Tables, chairs, linens, etc, are NOT included and must be ordered through our designated Official Vendors. We do run rain or shine, so absolutely no refunds.
The Meadows Back Row package includes:
- 2 General Admission badges
- 1 vehicle pass to park at your tailgating area
- One 10’ x 10’ tent
- 15’x40′ tailgating area that accommodates 14 (all guests over 12 years of age must have a General Admission badge)
- Chairs and tables not included. You may bring your own or order from our preferred vendor Party Reflections at 704.927.9718.
Additional Parking: With a General Admission badge, your guest may park for free in the General Admission Lot and take the free shuttle to your tailgating space. (Limited onsite shuttles pick up and drop off ONLY at designated shuttle stops.) You do have the option of purchasing a Green Spring Parking pass for your guests at $75.00 per vehicle. The Green Spring Lot is a convenient parking area and provides a short walk to the Meadows. Limit 2 per tailgate space. Please note: A Green Spring Parking pass ordered through the website will NOT allow entry for a van/bus/or limo. Please call the office at 704.843.7070 if you require a van/bus/or limo parking pass.
Space Assignments: Unless you own a PSL (Private Space License), your tailgating space will be randomly assigned and will be noted on your parking pass.

Restrictions: You may have a maximum of 14 people in one Meadows Back Row tailgating space. Additional badges must be purchased for each patron over 12 years of age. For groups larger than 14, you may purchase multiple spaces up to a maximum of 4. No vehicles taller than 7ft or longer that 30ft will be allowed. No patron supplied tents, canopies, awnings or umbrellas are allowed. All patrons over 12 must have and wear badges at all times. RACES RUN RAIN OR SHINE. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.
